Solomon's Children is currently developing a network of contacts between schools in the UK and Uganda. The network acts as an information exchange, and enables the different schools to share knowledge about their respective countries and different ways of life. In several cases, the bonds created have been further strengthened by the UK schools fundraising for their Ugandan counterparts. Some UK schools have even chosen to sponsor a number of students in their Ugandan contact school.
Solomon's Children are currently looking to expand the number of schools - in both the UK and Uganda - who take part in this network. Both primary and secondary schools are eligible to become part of the network. If you are interested in finding out more about the network, or if you know of a school which would be interested in getting involved, please
email us at Solomon's Children.
Solomon's Children are currently advertising in
The Daily Mirror newspaper. The advertisement, produced by Benoit Neuveglise and Daniel Bailey of Claranet (UK) Ltd, has been going out regularly since December 2003, and has so far had a very good response.
We wish to thank all those who have so far responded to the ad. We are currently looking to further our media profile, and ask anyone who could help us achieve this to
email us at Solomon's Children. To see the Daily Mirror advertising campaign, click
