Solomon's Children selects young people for support on the basis of their past progress at school, their genuine financial need, and the inability of their family to support them. Partner organizations in Uganda - schools, churches, charities, other NGOs - refer young people to us by submitting one of our referral forms. To download a copy of the referral form, click

Our education committee then meets once a year, usually in November, to decide which young people to support in the next academic year (in Uganda the academic year runs from January to November). Our selection procedures are rigorous, and decisions are made with reference to our 'Working Principles', which can be viewed
here.
Below are just some of the young people who have been helped by Solomon's Children. Click on the photographs to read more about their stories.
